Geomattric is the creative world of Matt Riceman — an artist, designer and lifelong explorer of shape, colour, pattern and visual ideas.
The story began with a fascination for turning simple geometric forms into something unexpected. Circles, lines, grids, symmetry and repetition became the building blocks for artwork that could be both precise and playful, often influenced by music, movement, nature and the visual world around us.
What started as an individual creative pursuit has grown into a continually evolving collection of original artwork. From the geometric energy of Handspun, to the organic forms of Flora and the expressive compositions of Abstrakt, each collection explores a different side of the Geomattric visual language.
The aim isn’t to follow a particular trend or reproduce what is already out there. It’s to create artwork with its own character — artwork that catches the eye, rewards a closer look and brings colour, personality and a sense of individuality to the spaces it occupies.
Today, Geomattric is evolving beyond the artwork itself, with selected designs being transformed into fine art prints, wall art and other products, allowing the work to find its way into homes, studios, workplaces and creative spaces.
And the story is still developing. Jen Riceman has recently begun contributing her own artwork to the Geomattric world, adding another creative voice while the original vision continues to grow.
This is Geomattric: original artwork, evolving ideas and a little bit of turning it up to eleven.
